Meet the Violin
This 5 day crash course covers everything from the very first time you open the case, to beginning to read musical notation, rhythm basics and playing in a group. We limit our class size to 6 and offer both Junior and Senior age levels to ensure everyone has the opportunity to meet the violin!

Cost: $220
Students will need to bring a violin with them. You can rent violins ranging from $15-25/month from Wentworth Music in Kelowna.
It is recommended that all participants bring a small snack and water bottle.
Junior Fiddlers
Dates: August 8-12th
Times: 9:30-12:00 PM
Age: 6-9
Level: RCM Grade 1/ Suzuki book 2

Senior Fiddlers
Dates: August 8-12th
Times: 1:00-3:30 PM
Age: 10-14
Level: RCM Grade 3/ Suzuki book 4
Cost: $220
Students for both fiddle programs are expected to have basic note reading skills.

Learn to Fiddle
In this 5 day intensive, you will find yourself dancing a jig in no time at all! Come learn about the traditions of Irish, Scottish and North American fiddle music, all while mastering new tunes and rhythms! Students will be introduced to the aural tradition of learning fiddle music as well as learn how to fiddle in a group. Each student will go home with their own songbook so they can keep fiddling long after the program ends!
